The international class in the? Photojournalism and Documentary Photography? Course will enter its fifth round in March 2021. Impressed by the growing internationality and good quality on the applications, Prof. Dr. Karen Fromm, V. -Prof. Christoph Bangert plus the analysis assistant Sophia Greiff chosen 13 students for the next international class.

The photo student Malte Uchtmann wins with his photo book “ARRIVING – Regarding the architecture of refugee accommodation in Germany” inside the “Student project” category. The former photography student Moritz K?stner was also able to convince the jury of his function. With his photo book “Silence could be the Sound of Fear” he wins the category of documentary-journalistic photo book.

Photo student wins the Vonovia Award 2020 with very best young talent.
With his work “all?, en la pampa”, photography student Valentin Goppel was able to convince the jury of the Vonovia Awards for Photography 2020. He wins the award for the right young talent, endowed with 5000 euros. His photo series is about a group of teenagers within the Argentine village of Maria Susana.
